HBO Family is a sister channel of HBO. This is also a film channel launched for family content specifically. Unlike the main HBO channel, HBO Family was not launched in the US first. It was launched for the Southeast Asian community for more modest and censored content.
The first broadcast of HBO Family was seen in 2006. The channel was directly operated by HBO Asia Pte Ltd, which is further under the jurisdiction of Warner Bros. Discovery. For two decades now, HBO Family has followed the international standard of broadcast and provided quality content to its fans in Asia.
