KBS World is a South Korean entertainment channel started for the international audience. The channel was started for the Korean content fans living outside of South Korea. KBS, which is more commonly known as the Korean Broadcasting System, launched this channel along with other KBS domestic channels in 2003.
For more than two decades, this channel has been providing quality entertainment and original production programs to loyal viewers. KBS World broadcasts the latest shows and dramas a week after they are aired on the main KBS domestic channels.
Although all content on this channel is in the Korean language but local cable and satellite services provide subtitles in local languages for their viewers. This feature has improved the viewership of KBS World manyfold.
